શુ જગુદણ માં પુસ્તકાલય છે ? library છે ?   આ સવાલ છે આજે અમુક જગુદણ ના લોકો નો. મોટા ભાગના લોકો ને એ ખબર જ નથી કે જગુદણ માં એક સરકારી પુસ્તકાલય છે. જેને ખબર છે તેઓ કાંતો ઘરડા છે અથવા પુસ્તકાલય ની આજુબાજુ રહે છે. બાકીના વિસ્તાર માં રહેતા લોકો ને એમાંય ખાસ કરીને યુવા પેઢીને ખબર જ નથી કે જગુદણ માં પુસ્તકાલય છે અને તે પણ સરકારી છે. સરકાર દ્વારા મફત પ્રાપ્ત થતા બધા જ સામાયિકો, સાપ્તાહિકો અને માસિક પુસ્તકો આ પુસ્તકાલય માં આવે છે.તો ચાલો આજે આ ખોવાઈ ગયેલા પુસ્તકાલય ને અંદર થી નીરખીયે..... ઇતિહાસ     આ પણું પુસ્તકાલય ખુબજ જૂનું છે તેનું બાંધકામ 1952-1956 ની વચ્ચે કરવા માં આવ્યું હતું. તે વખતે ગામ ના બે દાતાઓ ,સરકાર ની મદદ,અને મહેસાણા જિલ્લા લોકલ બોર્ડ ની મદદ થી 10,000 રૂપિયા ભેગા કરીને  આ પુસ્તકાલય ઉભું કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. એ વખત ના મોઘામૂલા 10000 રૂપિયા ખર્ચી ને બનાવાયેલુ  આ પુસ્તકાલય આજે પણ આપણા પૂર્વજ કાલ  ના શિક્ષણ માટે કેટલા ચિંતિત હતા તેની સાક્ષી પુરે છે. ગામ ભણે વાંચે આગળ વધે એવો એમનો પ્રયત્ન રહ્યો હશે. ...

વહેલી પરોઢિયે ઊઠયો હતો , ને સુરજ જોઈ વિચારતો હતો, લાવ ને કહું મારા ગામ વિશે બે વચન , કે કેવું છે મારુ જગુદન ? જ્યાં સુરજ ઉગે સોનાનો , ને રાત થાય રૂપની , જ્યાં આખો ' દિ હોય મહેનત ની લગન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન.. અહીં ખેતરો છે ગામ માં , ને ઉદ્યોગો પણ કતારમાં, જ્યાં સતત ચાલે ઘરમાં ચુલાનું સ્પંદન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં નથી એકેય નદી , કે નથી એકેય વન, તોયે થઇ જાય સાવજ થઇને ફરવાનું મન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં પુરુષ માં પુરુષાર્થ વધુ , ને મહિલા ને માન વધુ, જ્યાં બાળકોનો વિશ્વાસ આંબે ગગન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં વીરપુરુષ ને માન મળે , ને દેવાલય ને દાન મળે, જ્યાં દુરાચારી નું થાય છે મર્દન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં સજ્જન સાથે ગામ, તોયે એને પણ લગામ, દુર્જનોને દેખાડે ગામ દર્પણ, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં વૃદ્ધો પાસે જ્ઞાન , ને વિદ્યાર્થી પાસે વિજ્ઞાન, જ્યાં યુવાન હોય કામ માટે થનગન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ... અહીં ઉત્સવોના છે રંગ , ને વાય મસ્તીના પવન, જ્યાં થાય વારંવાર જવાનું મન, એવું છે મારુ જગુદન ...   સાંજ પડી કામ માં ને ફરવા નીકળ્યો ગા...
